It is widely considered that the best examples of Nemea wine are made from vineyards at the highest altitudes, where gravelly soils, lower temperatures and great diurnal changes in temperature produce lower yields resulting in high-quality grapes of the variety Agiorgitiko with delicate floral characteristics and high acidity. We harvest the grapes from a mountainous area, toward the peak of Mount Kyllini at 2360ft (720m). Minimum intervention in the wine-making ensures the protection of this special terroir.
Characteristic red – purple colour and fragrances of cherries and pomegranate. Lively acidity with velvety tannins and a really long fruity aftertaste.
